COVID-19 Update


At C.H.O.O.S.E. physical therapy helping our patients manage and resolve their pain and dysfunction is important. However, our #1 Priority is the health and well being of our patients and staff. Staff members are receiving instruction and ongoing updates about COVID-19, hand hygiene and other safety measures to decrease the likelihood of infection.  We are an essential healthcare provider and will continue to operate at this time. In doing so, our comprehensive services will be adhering to CDC guidelines. As COVID-19 situation continues to evolve, we wanted to outline the measures we are taking to maintain the safety and health of our patients and staff.  


  • Private Rooms – C.H.O.O.S.E. Physical Therapy offers six private rooms which helps to minimize exposure and maintain recommended spacing. After each patient, we take the necessary steps to decrease risk of infection by changing the linens and sanitizing all counter-tops, tabletops, chairs and equipment. ·
  • Personal Protection Equipment Use –Therapists and support staff are actively using gloves, gowns, N95 masks and other PPE when applicable.
  • Patient Screening - We are extensively screening patients before and during their appointment times for any signs of infection, fever or exposure.
  • Staff Screening – Employees are screened daily for COVID-19. This includes the use of a “frontal  thermometer.” The staff has completes self screening procedures.
  • Personal Hygiene – Proper hand washing and disinfection procedures after each individual patient contact by professional and ancillary staff. Patients are asked to use hand sanitize or wash with soap and water on arrival and departure from the clinic
